Turkey Sail

From the 2nd June till the 9th June Sally, Amie, Shelley, Dave and I went on Turkey sail where we spent a week travelling down the west coast of Turkey. It was so beautiful and we had a really good group of people. We only pulled into 2 ports the entire week and the rest of the time we just sailed the coast. We stopped at Olunediz and Butterfly Valley and Smugglers Inn and The sunken city. I slept on the deck everynight and think I slept about 3-4 hours each night as we got woken up by the sun when it was rising. It was nice to sleep under the stars and see the moon everynight.

We had a couple of big nights. We stopped in Smugglers Inn where someone had built there own bar and made a dancefloor. The bar had really good old school music so we all danced and sweated the night away before getting the boat back to our boat where we continued to drink and party.

On the last night we also had a huge night where we had our last dinner and then got picked up and driven to the hostel bar where we watched a traditional turkish dance and belly dancer and then had a free shot and went to the night club after. We stayed up really late that night and had about 2 hours sleep before having to pack and get off the boat. It was a tough day. But the night was so much fun. It waqs sad to say goodbye to everyone and I hope in the future we get to catch up somewhere along the way.

The entire time we were on the boat we sunbaked, read books, listened to music, jumped off the edge of the boat, floated in the water and even got towed behind the little boat. We hiked up a mountain to the top where there was an old castle and watched the sunset.  We had plenty of personal jokes by the end of the trip and I think everyone only ever said "That shit cray" and "Thats what she said" was funny and iritating at the same time.

All in all was a great rest and relaxation!
