Amsterdam WOW

First night out on the town we went to a sex show. WOW describes this best. The redlight district is everything that you hear about it. You literally walk down a street with thousands of doors with red lights wrapped around the outside of them and when you look in the door there are girls pretty much naked doing everything they can to get you to go in the door. Its an eye opener. The sex show consisted of many of nationalities and a cigar , a banana and a texter. That is all we will say about this.

Next day we were up for our bike tour. This was a tour that took us out into the countryside of amsterdam - a part a lot of people don't see when they go. Riding through the city is an experience, bike riders have right away over pedestrians and you have to dodge all the traffic. After riding for awhile we got to have a stop at a pretty windmill for some photos then headed onto a cheese and clog factory.

The man that owned the factory was hilarious! He was always laughing and talking to everyone in there native language. He also made jokes about the girls moving to the front when he spoke cause he didn't like men. He kept talking to a chinese girl in chinese and put on the accent and everything. We learnt how he makes the cheese and then got to taste test them. So tasty! We then got to see a demonstration of how wooden clogs are made. We rode back to the city after this tour of the factory.

That night we were booked on the pub crawl which started at our hostel bar. We had convinced the two american boys in our room to come and a drinking challenge was started. The pub crawl was to go to 5 different bars. Apparently of the 50 people it only 20 had made it to the 4th bar. We only managed to the 3rd bar and then returning to the hostel found our american room mate vomitting all over himself in bed.

The next day we managed to get out of bed not feeling the greatest and went to the Anne Frank house. This was the house Anne hidout in with her family for years trying to escape being taken to concentration camps. The house had quotes from her diary displayed on all the rooms of the house. It was a very sad place knowing that someone ended up turning them into the nazis.

We went to a thai place for dinner with our new american friends and it was delicious. So good to finally have thai again.
